“We applaud Attorney General Becerra winning a resounding election victory, and more importantly for the work he has done for the 40 million people of the California and the country. Since his appointment, he has demonstrated leadership and character, and he is a unflinching fighter for the people of California. There is no doubt AG Becerra will continue to be a backstop against the barrage of attacks coming out of the Trump administration including protecting access to affordable healthcare, safeguarding clean air and clean water, fighting to help defrauded student loan borrowers, and defending the Dreamers. We congratulate General Becerra on his election and look forward to continuing our work together.”
