Shapiro Announced His Re-Election Efforts on January 15 With More Than $3 Million in the Bank

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Following Pennsylvania AG Josh Shapiro’s re-election announcement Wednesday, the Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) released the statements below from DAGA Co-Chairs Oregon AG Ellen Rosenblum and Massachusetts AG Maura Healey. AG Shapiro has been a staunch advocate for the people of Pennsylvania and played a leading role in national efforts to combat the opioid epidemic, hold special interests accountable, and protect students from aggressive student loan providers. DAGA is already implementing plans to keep this key battleground seat blue, just as it did in 2016 when Josh Shapiro eclipsed 3 million votes—more than any other candidate on the ballot, including Donald Trump. And with more than $3 Million in the bank, AG Shapiro looks more than ready to repeat his success.
