Washington, D.C. – As dangerous protests against Stay-At-Home orders continued this weekend, Democratic Attorneys General joined MSNBC and CBSN to address President Trump’s calls to “LIBERATE MICHIGAN,” “LIBERATE MINNESOTA,” and “LIBERATE VIRGINIA” on Twitter and discussed how Dem AGs are working to keep people safe in their states.
1. On Saturday, Michigan AG Dana Nessel joined MSNBC’s Chris Jansing following the White House’s Task Force press conference during which Trump talked at length about the Second Amendment. AG Nessel makes a great point by saying, “I have never seen a gun so powerful that it can, in anyway, eradicate COVID-19.” She went on to add, “what makes you a patriot is trying to protect your fellow countrymen and women against a common enemy. And again, the enemy here is exclusively the virus.”
