OREGON AG RACE UPDATE: DAGA Statement Supporting DAGA Co-Chair Oregon AG Ellen Rosenblum

May 20, 2020

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Today, the Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) released the following statement from Executive Director Sean Rankin applauding DAGA Co-Chair Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum on her primary win and her clear path to victory in November.

Statement from Sean Rankin, Executive Director of the Democratic Attorneys General Association:

“In the midst of a world seemingly turning upside down for so many people in this pandemic, I find comfort and hope in Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum and her primary win today. This is a time when all on-lookers can recognize the difference between genuine public servants who are working to address constituents’ critical needs and those others who seem to leverage calamity for political purpose and personal gain. In Ellen Rosenblum, we all share a measured and fierce advocate with deep convictions who will act in the interests of all the people. I know that Attorney General Rosenblum will continue to work on behalf the people of Oregon when re-elected this Fall and concurrently provide leadership nationally against a reckless, fumbling, and dangerous Trump administration.
