MT AG RACE UPDATE: DAGA Statement on Raph Graybill’s Primary Victory in Montana

June 3, 2020

Graybill is a Fifth Generation Montanan and Current Chief Legal Counsel to Gov. Bullock

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Today, the Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) released the following statement from Political Director Farah Melendez on the results from Montana’s Democratic primary election for Attorney General:

Statement from Farah Melendez, Political Director of the Democratic Attorneys General Association:

“Congratulations to Raph Graybill for winning the Democratic nomination for Attorney General in Montana. Graybill has spent his career fighting for Montana families and communities. As Attorney General, Graybill will protect access to health care for Montanans with pre-existing conditions, fight to keep communities and consumers safe, and defend Montana’s public lands. As a fifth generation Montanan and current chief legal counsel to Governor Bullock, he knows the Attorney General must look out for Montanans and defend their freedoms. Montana is a major pickup opportunity for DAGA this cycle. After a competitive primary in which Graybill routinely outraised Republicans, Graybill proved that he not only has the support of Montanan families, but he also has what it takes to flip this seat back to blue.”
