DAGA Co-Chairs Call on Republican AGs to Hold Trump Accountable for Pushing Illegal Voting Practices
September 4, 2020
WASHINGTON, D.C.— The Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) Co-Chairs Massachusetts AG Maura Healey and Oregon AG Ellen Rosenblum released the statement following President Trump’s remarks last night in Pennsylvania once again spreading misinformation about voting.
Statement from Massachusetts AG Maura Healey and Oregon AG Ellen Rosenblum, Co-Chairs of the Democratic Attorneys General Association
“Trump has now told voters in North Carolina and in Pennsylvania to vote twice—once by mail and once in person. Let’s be clear: please do not try to vote twice! It is against the law even to suggest it—let alone, to do it!”
“We call on the Republican Attorneys General to speak up, too, and hold the President accountable for his dangerous and misleading rhetoric—or are they too beholden to Trump to call him out for violating the law?”
