Washington, DC — Today, the Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) congratulates Hawaii Attorney General Clare Connors on her confirmation by the Senate to serve as U.S. Attorney for Hawaii.

AG Connors has a long history of public service, including representing the U.S. as a trial attorney prosecuting federal crimes. She has been a true fighter for justice, and we join her constituents in thanking her for her distinguished service as Hawaii’s Attorney General.”

AG Connors joins eight other former Democratic AGs who are now serving in the Biden-Harris Administration, including Vice President Kamala Harris, HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra, and DOE Secretary Jennifer Granholm. Prior to becoming Hawaii’s Attorney General, AG Connors served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney at the United States Attorney’s Office in the District of Hawaii, prosecuting a broad variety of crimes from handling of complex fraud to public corruption and tax matters. She’s also worked as a civil litigator, handling commercial disputes, wrongful death actions, medical malpractice claims on behalf of injured persons and other personal injury matters.
