She demonstrated to all Americans that she is highly-qualified for the job and will make an exceptional Justice serving on the highest court in the land. During her confirmation process, more than 20 Democratic Attorneys General signed a letter supporting Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s nomination to the Supreme Court of the United States.

Statement from DAGA Co-Chairs Nevada AG Aaron Ford and Delaware AG Kathy Jennings:

“We are thrilled that Judge Jackson will join the Supreme Court soon after her bipartisan confirmation. She brings extensive legal experience to the Court and will serve our country with honor and dignity. Throughout her confirmation hearings, Judge Jackson demonstrated that she not only will make an outstanding Justice, she will also work to ensure equal justice under the law as she’s done throughout her long career as a jurist.

“Judge Jackson’s confirmation also marks an important milestone in our nation’s history as she becomes the first Black woman to serve as a Supreme Court Justice. We recognize and thank the Biden-Harris Administration and the U.S. Senate for their role in achieving this monumental step in our nation’s history.”
