Career Public Servant On The Road To Becoming Arkansas’ Next People’s Lawyer

Washington, DC — Today, the Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) formally endorsed Jesse Gibson to be Arkansas’ next Attorney General. Gibson is a dedicated attorney who has spent more than two decades seeking justice for the people of Arkansas. During his extensive career, Gibson has served as an advocate for those in need and taken on corrupt corporations. As Attorney General, he will continue to serve his constituents by prioritizing the safety, security, and strength of Arkansas communities.

Statement from Sean Rankin, President, Democratic Attorneys General Association:

“We are proud to endorse Jesse Gibson as Arkansas’ next Attorney General. His extensive legal career as a trial attorney has focused on fighting for the people of Arkansas, especially those who needed to make the legal system work for them. As Attorney General, he will continue standing up for Arkansans and ensure they are treated justly and fairly under the law. He’ll stand up to the Do-Nothing culture in Arkansas politics. When elected, Gibson will address the state’s increasing crime rate, protect his constituents from abusive price gouging, and ensure voting rights remain intact. We look forward to getting him in office this November.”

Statement from Jesse Gibson, Democratic candidate for Arkansas Attorney General:

“With nearly 25 years of representing the people of my state in the courtroom, I am the only one in this race qualified to serve the people of Arkansas as their next Attorney General. As AG, I will fight to keep our communities safe and be the People’s Lawyer for all Arkansans — from protecting our consumers and families from those who would prey on them, to standing up for reproductive rights and working to keep our communities free from gun violence with overwhelmingly popular common sense steps. For me, this office is not just another open seat for partisan politics, but a chance to defend the good and decent. I look forward to continuing my work fighting for the people of Arkansas as their next Attorney General.”
