Washington, DC — The Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) congratulates California Attorney General Rob Bonta on his primary win and his advancement to the general election this November. Since Governor Gavin Newsom announced that he would be appointing Bonta as Attorney General of California to succeed Xavier Becerra last year, AG Bonta has had DAGA’s full support from day one. AG Bonta’s confirmation made history as the first Filipino American to serve as Attorney General in the state.
