DAGA Endorses Charity Clark for Vermont Attorney General Following Primary Win

August 15, 2022

Washington, D.C. — Following her primary win, the Democratic Attorneys General Association announced the endorsement of Charity Clark to be the next Attorney General in Vermont. Clark will work tirelessly to protect the people of Vermont and hold the powerful accountable.

Statement from Sean Rankin, President Democratic Attorneys General Association:

“We’re thrilled to endorse Charity Clark as Vermont’s next Attorney General. We’ve worked closely with her for years during her time serving the people of Vermont as former AG Donovan’s Chief of Staff. Her wealth of experience puts her in the perfect position to become Vermont’s first woman elected as AG this fall. As AG, she will continue to build on the progress made while she was Chief of Staff — from protecting consumers to fighting back against climate change. She will always put Vermont families first and work to keep them safe every step of the way. We look forward to helping her make history this fall and returning this seat to Democratic hands.”

Statement from Charity Clark, Democratic Nominee for Attorney General in Vermont:

“Thank you to DAGA for their endorsement today. When elected as AG, Vermonters can trust that I will fight for consumers and small businesses, protect the environment, advocate for common-sense criminal justice reforms, and refocus on the issue of violence against women to bring about an even better Vermont for all. I look forward to working with DAGA to win in November.”
