Washington, DC — Wisconsin’s GOP AG nominee Eric Toney is getting rewarded for his dangerous, extremist stance on abortion. Toney just received the endorsement of the dangerous anti-reproductive rights group Susan B. Anthony List which is pushing for a national abortion ban. SBA President Marjorie Dannenfelser said she believes that rape exceptions are ‘abominable.’

Yesterday, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel revealed, “Eric Toney, Wisconsin’s Republican candidate for attorney general, said he wouldn’t rule out using Department of Justice resources to prosecute abortions, even in cases of rape and incest.”

The contrast in the race couldn’t be more clear: “Incumbent [AG Josh] Kaul also appeared on WKOW’s Capitol City show where he said even if the state’s 1849 criminal abortion ban is upheld, he would not use DOJ resources to investigate or prosecute abortions.”
