Washington, DC – As the Trump administration continues to announce its flurry of unconstitutional executive orders, Virginia Republican AG Jason Miyares continues to do nothing to protect Virginians from their harmful impacts. MAGA Miyares has been silent on the reckless decision by President Trump and Elon Musk to indiscriminately fire federal employees – a decision that could affect many of the 320,000+ workers in the Commonwealth.

This isn’t the first time Miyares has failed to stand up to Trump. This week, MAGA Miyares also sat on the sidelines when a group of attorneys general sued to preserve critical public health funding for their states, jeopardizing $425 million in federal funding for the Virginia Department of Health.
