Arizona AG Race Set Between Kris Mayes and GOP Extremist Abe Hamadeh

Mayes is Clear Choice in November

Washington, DC — Following the conclusion of Arizona’s primary, the race for Attorney General is set, and voters have a clear choice this November. DAGA-backed Democratic nominee Kris Mayes will face off against Abe Hamadeh. Hamadeh is out-of-touch and threatens the future of our democracy. With former President Trump’s endorsement, Hamadeh has been campaigning on the former President’s dangerous, divisive brand of politics throughout his time on the trail.

Statement from Sean Rankin, President, Democratic Attorneys General Association:

“Kris Mayes is going to protect Arizonans – their communities, their rights, and their votes. She was born in rural Arizona and knows her state end to end. She has held the powerful accountable and fought for Arizonans her entire life. Her opponent, Abe Hamadeh, is a far-right extremist who’s been campaigning on Trump’s Big Lie and his dangerous brand of politics. Hamadeh is completely out-of-touch with Arizona values. Arizonans and stakeholders from both sides of the aisle should support Mayes, who will put Arizonans first as Attorney General. We need Kris Mayes in the AG seat, and we are proud to support her this November.”
