Statement from DAGA Co-Chairs Delaware AG Kathy Jennings and Illinois AG Kwame Raoul:
“We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to lead DAGA and welcome our new Executive committee member. DAGA has grown into a formidable force throughout the country and has been an invaluable asset to electing and supporting Democratic AGs and our work. We are also very proud to welcome into our organization the newly elected Democratic AGs who ran strong campaigns this past election cycle in North Carolina, Oregon, and Washington.
“This dynamic group of leaders knows what is at stake in the years to come. Democratic AGs are the first line of defense in enforcing the rule of law, protecting Americans’ rights and freedoms, and making sure our residents are safe, just as we were in 2017 and beyond. There is a lot of important work ahead, and Democratic AGs will continue to demonstrate how effective we are when we work together.
“We also want to thank AG Ellen Rosenblum for her time serving as a member on our Executive Committee. She’s always tackled the biggest issues facing our country and has consistently delivered for her constituents. We wish her all the best in the years ahead.”
