New Ad Contrasts Republican Career Politician Lynn Fitch with Democrat Jennifer Riley Collins’ Years of Public Service and Personal Connection to the Fight for Affordable Health Care

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Today, DAGA’s People’s Lawyer Project Mississippi, an independent organization backed by the Democratic Attorneys General Association, released a new 30-second TV ad titled “The Call.”

The ad contrasts Republican career politician Lynn Finch with Democrat Jennifer Riley Collins’ years of public service including her decorated career in the Army, her work as a civil rights attorney, and her personal connection to the fight for affordable health care. The ad highlights the important role the next Mississippi Attorney General will play in the health care debate—and how voters cannot trust Lynn Fitch to protect critical health care because she is beholden to special interests.

Career politician Lynn Fitch answers — to the special interests – (not us).

She’d let insurance companies deny coverage to people with pre-existing conditions — like Diabetes and cancer.

And Fitch could let them take away coverage from over a hundred thousand Mississippians.

Jennifer Riley Collins has always answered the call — to service – as a(n) (Army) Colonel, in the courtroom, and caring for her father struggling with cancer.

As Attorney General, Riley Collins will hold insurance companies accountable — to make health care affordable – (for us).

Our democracy can't wait.
