WASHINGTON, DC – The Democratic Attorneys General Association released the following statement on the politically motivated attacks on two state lawmakers and their spouses in Minnesota.

Statement from DAGA Co-Chairs Delaware AG Kathy Jennings and Illinois AG Kwame Raoul: 

“We are horrified and devastated by the politically motivated shootings of Minnesota House Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and Sen. John Hoffman and their spouses in their homes, and we condemn this act of targeted violence. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, their communities, and all Minnesotans at this terrifying time.”
