Washington, DC — The Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) congratulates Lindsey Cheek as she advances to the runoff election to become Louisiana’s next Attorney General. The runoff will take place on Saturday, November 18. Cheek will face Liz Murrill in the runoff, a far-right extremist who would further push the same dangerous agenda in office that the people of Louisiana have faced under AG Landry.

From troubling allegations of sexual harassment within his office to his attacks on the hardworking men and women of Louisiana, including his attempts to dismantle pre-existing conditions protections for over 800,000 Louisianans, Landry’s tenure has been marked by failure.
