DAGA Congratulates Nevada AG and DAGA Co-Chair Aaron Ford on Decisive Re-Election Win

November 10, 2022

Washington, DC — The Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) congratulates Nevada Attorney General and DAGA Co-Chair Aaron Ford on his decisive re-election win. AG Ford defeated far-right extremist Sigal Chattah because Nevada voters trust him to be the People’s Lawyer for all and know that he’ll continue to fight for them and their rights in his second term.

Statement from Geoff Burgan, Communications Director, Democratic Attorneys General Association:

“We want to congratulate Attorney General and DAGA Co-Chair Aaron Ford for his significant re-election. AG Ford ran a strong campaign and focused on the issues that everyday Nevadans care about, all while facing racist and unhinged attacks from his opponent. AG Ford brought Nevadans from every corner of the state and every political background into his campaign, from Nevada Republicans to law enforcement leaders to Nevada’s Latino and AAPI communities. Nevadans trust AG Ford to continue delivering wins for them as he’s been doing the past four years, from standing up to powerful corporations and protecting health care, to defending voting rights and pursuing anti-trafficking efforts to hold perpetrators accountable. During his time in office, he helped secure over $300 million in recoveries on behalf of Nevada consumers.

“We also want to thank AG Ford for his hard work to elect more Democratic AGs across the country in his role as DAGA Co-Chair. His unwavering devotion to being the People’s Lawyer for all Nevadans made his first term successful, and we can’t wait to see all that he accomplishes in the years ahead.”
