DAGA Congratulates New Jersey Attorney General Jennifer Davenport on Confirmation

WASHINGTON, DC – The Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) congratulates New Jersey Attorney General Jennifer Davenport on her unanimous confirmation by the New Jersey Senate today.  

AG Davenport is a longtime public servant with over 15 years of law enforcement experience, and she has dedicated her entire career to protecting the rule of law and defending the U.S. Constitution. Before being nominated to the office, Davenport worked at the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office as First Assistant Attorney General and Principal Law Enforcement Advisor. Later, AG Davenport worked in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey, serving as the Chief of the General Crimes Unit. She has delivered for New Jerseyans, whether that was taking on price gougers or fiercely protecting the rights and freedoms of the people in the state. Davenport has always prioritized keeping New Jersey communities safe and will continue to do so as their attorney general.
