DAGA Congratulates Vermont Attorney General Charity Clark on Re-Election Win
November 5, 2024
Washington, DC — The Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) congratulates Vermont Attorney General Charity Clark on winning her re-election in a landslide.
AG Clark made history in 2022 as the first woman elected to the Office of Attorney General in Vermont, and it’s clear that Vermonters trust her to get the job done. As a Vermont native, AG Clark understands the needs and pressures that her constituents face. AG Clark has worked to meet these needs by advocating on behalf of vulnerable communities, defending Vermonters’ fundamental rights, and protecting the state’s natural resources and environment. She has shown a strong dedication to Vermonters, and she’ll continue to build on her successes.
Statement from Sean Rankin, President of Democratic Attorneys General Association:
“We congratulate AG Clark on her resounding re-election win tonight. In her short time serving the people of Vermont as their Attorney General, she has defended abortion access, prioritized public safety, prosecuted violent offenders, and protected consumers. As she moves into her second term, AG Clark will continue to uphold the values of Vermonters, and DAGA is looking forward to seeing what AG Clark will accomplish next.”
