WASHINGTON, DC – Today, the Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) is thrilled to announce its endorsement of Kim Ahern for Rhode Island Attorney General following her primary win. Ahern has spent her career protecting Rhode Islanders by advocating for civil, environmental, and LGBTQ+ rights. As a Special Assistant Attorney General under three attorneys general, she prosecuted over 1,000 cases in the Special Victims Unit and worked to safeguard clean air and water for Rhode Islanders. Ahern is exceptionally qualified to serve as Rhode Island’s next attorney general.
