DAGA Expands Map, Adds Georgia to Target Race List
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, the Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) is excited to announce our endorsement of Tanya Miller to serve as Georgia’s next attorney general. DAGA is also expanding our 2026 map and adding Georgia to our list of pickup opportunities. As the founder and lead attorney of Miller Injury Trial Law, Miller has built her career around serving and delivering justice to victims of personal injury. As a prosecutor, she fiercely advocated for victims of crime while also prosecuting child predators and violent criminals. In 2023, she was elected to the 62nd House District in the Georgia General Assembly, and today she’s the Democratic Caucus Chair where she continues to lead the fight to lower costs and protect Georiga’s working families.
Statement from Sean Rankin, DAGA President:
“Tanya Miller’s commitment to serving her community has been front and center throughout her career as a civil rights attorney, a prosecutor, and now a state representative, which is why DAGA is proud to endorse her for attorney general in Georgia. As a prosecutor, Miller maintained an undefeated trial record in homicide cases. As the Chair of the Georgia House Democratic Caucus, she’s been a proven leader in fighting for Georgians’ rights and safety while also pushing back against bad actors who hurt consumers. Miller will restore service in the attorney general’s office and put the needs of Georgians first. We are thrilled to support Miller’s campaign to become Georgia’s next attorney general and add more seats to our pickup map in 2026.”
Statement from Tanya Miller, Democratic Nominee for Georgia Attorney General:
“I am honored to receive DAGA’s endorsement and to stand alongside Democratic attorneys general across this country who are fighting corruption and holding the powerful accountable every single day. I have spent my career doing the same — prosecuting violent crimes, fighting for civil rights in court, and standing up for working Georgians in the legislature. Now I am running to be the Attorney General unafraid to take on the corporations ripping people off, the special interests writing the rules at the expense of working and middle-class families, and the corrupt politicians profiting while Georgians pay the price. Georgia deserves an AG who works for the people. As a homicide prosecutor, I never lost a case. With DAGA’s support, I don’t plan on losing this fight for Georgia’s families.”
