Democratic AGs Will Always Fight for Workers’ Rights

Washington, DC — Today, the Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) released the following statement celebrating the life and legacy of César Chávez, who, alongside Dolores Huerta, fought for the fundamental rights of workers and Latinos across the country.

Statement from DAGA Co-Chairs Delaware AG Kathy Jennings and Nevada AG Aaron Ford:

“Today, on what would’ve been his 96th birthday, we honor the enduring legacy of César Chávez and the impact that his advocacy had on the rights of workers. His work of organizing marginalized voices to fight injustice, and his fight for better, safer conditions for workers across America continue to inspire us all. Workers are the driving force for our country, and as Democratic Attorneys General, we carry on César Chávez’s work to always stand up for the dignity and rights of all workers and always fight for justice.”
