WASHINGTON, DC – Today, the Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) is proud to announce its endorsement of Arizona AG Kris Mayes in her bid for re-election as Arizona’s Attorney General.

“Throughout her time in office, Arizona AG Kris Mayes has consistently delivered the unwavering leadership that Arizonans deserve, which is why DAGA is proud to endorse her in her re-election campaign. AG Mayes has prioritized public safety, held bad actors accountable, protected consumers, and worked with law enforcement to crack down on the fentanyl crisis. Early on in her tenure, she stood up for access to reproductive health care and fought efforts to ban abortion in the state.  

“AG Mayes also has been part of the coalition of Democratic AGs who have been fighting the Trump administration for their lawless actions—defending Arizonans against attacks on their rights, protecting federal workers and vital funding streams, and racking up wins against Trump’s destructive agenda.
