DAGA Raised $28 Million in 2025, Its Largest Annual Haul Ever in an Off Year

DAGA more than doubled its fundraising total from 2021 to 2025
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, the Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) announced it raised $28 million across all entities in 2025, the largest annual fundraising total in the organization’s history during an off year. Compared to 2021 and 2023, DAGA more than doubled its fundraising numbers.
This year, DAGA will continue to invest heavily in key AG races across the country and will look to not only keep seats in Democratic hands, but to also flip AG seats in states like Kansas to elect leaders who will preserve our democracy and defend the rule of law. In addition to the important electoral work, DAGA and its affiliated entities are investing in programmatic work with the attorneys general, their staff, and partner organizations to elevate the work of AGs and address issues affecting Americans’ everyday lives.
Statement from Sean Rankin, DAGA President:
“Since I started at DAGA in 2016, our fundraising strength has grown every cycle and 2026 is projected to be our biggest year ever. Our ability to continue to break fundraising records as a committee is a testament to the hard work of our attorneys general and candidates, our partners, and our staff. Democratic AGs remain the only group of elected officials who have managed to hold the Trump administration accountable for their unlawful actions and bring millions of dollars back to their states. That is why it’s so important to keep the momentum going by investing in our AG races and our work.
“DAGA is committed to holding Arizona, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, and Wisconsin this year, with pickup opportunities in Kansas and Iowa. We’re also looking at our map and think there are additional states in play.”
