Washington, DC — Last night, news broke that South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham is set to propose a national ban later today. Republicans, including GOP Attorneys General, have a long history of attacking abortion access, and this news makes the midterm elections all the more important for the future of abortion access.

“Republicans will stop at nothing to control people’s bodies, and make no mistake, if they take control of Congress this November, they will pass this bill. From Nevada to Georgia, and all throughout the Midwest, we need Democratic Attorneys General to defend abortion access. The only way to stop these Republican attacks is by electing Democrats up and down the ballot who will fight for reproductive health care, full stop.”
