Washington, DC — The Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) released the following statement after the final results of the Kentucky Attorney General race where far-right Republican Russell Coleman won against Democratic nominee Colonel Pam Stevenson.

While the election results may not have favored us tonight, we are proud of the kind of campaign she ran, focusing on the issues that matter to Kentuckians. As a veteran and trailblazer, Colonel Stevenson has stood resolutely in the face of challenges to her personally, in protection of our rights and freedoms, and in defense of our country. This campaign opened a new chapter on her service, and I expect that she will fill those pages with a continued commitment to the rule of law and the people of Kentucky.”
