Scott Pruitt formerly led the Republican Attorneys General Association as the Oklahoma Attorney General

Washington, D.C.— Following the resignation of EPA Administrator and former Oklahoma Attorney General and chair of the Republican Attorney General Association, the Democratic Attorneys General Association (@DemocraticAGs) released the following statement from co-chair Oregon AG Ellen Rosenblum.

“Scott Pruitt failed to do his job to protect our environment and to ethically serve his country in the role of head of the EPA.   We are relieved that his embarrassing tenure has finally come to a close.  America deserves leadership at the EPA that will protect our environment, not special interests.  Rest assured that, no matter what happens next or who the Trump administration nominates as a replacement, Democratic Attorneys General will continue to fight for clean air, clean water, the health of the people in our states, and the future of our planet—and we will win.”
