DAGA Strongly Supports Nomination of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to be Next Supreme Court Justice

Washington, DC — Today, President Biden announced the nomination of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court of the United States. Judge Jackson is a highly-qualified legal mind, who has been at the forefront of the legal field for decades. Once confirmed, she will make history as the first Black woman to serve as a Supreme Court Justice. Judge Jackson holds a wide range of experiences as a public defender, as vice chair of the U.S. Sentencing Commission, as a federal district judge, and most recently as a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
