DAGA Ready to Kick out AG Yost After Years of Failing Ohioans

Washington, DC — Today, the Democratic Attorneys General Association enthusiastically announced their endorsement of State Representative Jeff Crossman to be the next Attorney General of Ohio. Rep. Crossman is a proven fighter and is ready to take his years of experience working for the people of Ohio to the office of Attorney General.

Statement from Michelle Ortiz, Executive Director, Democratic Attorneys General Association:

“We are delighted to endorse Jeff Crossman to be the next Attorney General of the Buckeye State. As a member of the Ohio Legislature, he’s worked to hold the powerful accountable and protect Ohioans’ right to vote. As Attorney General, he will continue his work to combat the crime and corruption plaguing the state government, defend reproductive health care access, and keep Ohio families safe. After years of AG Yost failing his constituents, endangering their rights and freedoms, and prioritizing politics over people, Ohioans are in need of a change. And that change starts with electing Rep. Crossman to be the next AG.”

Statement from Jeff Crossman, Democratic Nominee for Ohio Attorney General:

“I am honored to receive DAGA’s endorsement. Ohio is ready for a change in the Attorney General office. For far too long, AG Yost has failed us. Ohioans deserve a state government that works for them, not against them. And as Ohio’s next Attorney General, I will never stop fighting for a more just and equal legal system. We need to take back our state and kick out those in office who want to further divide us. There is so much on the line this year, from abortion access to voting rights, and I look forward to working with the team at DAGA to defeat AG Yost and his corrupt brand of politics.”
