Washington, DC — Tonight, during the GOP debate for Pennsylvania Attorney General, Dave Sunday refused to answer whether or not he would prosecute abortion providers and patients. The majority of Pennsylvanians support abortion access.

The debate comes after Sunday tried and failed to avoid a messy primary, and now faces Craig Williams next month in the April primary.

 Statement from Emily Trifone, DAGA’s Deputy Communications Director:

“Dave Sunday’s refusal to answer a basic question about whether or not he will prosecute patients and providers is chilling. Sunday is a danger to women and out-of-touch on abortion. Pennsylvanians deserve an Attorney General who will stand up for their rights and freedoms. Dave Sunday is not that candidate.”
