WASHINGTON, DC – In the race for Colorado attorney general, Democratic nominee Jena Griswold and Republican Michael Allen went head-to-head on the debate stage last night. While Allen’s extreme positions are out of step with Colorado voters, Griswold stayed focused on the issues that matter most to Colorado families and communities: addressing the affordability crisis, promoting public safety, and protecting Coloradans’ rights and freedoms so everyone in the state can thrive.

Statement from Lottie Ash, DAGA Political Director:

“Jena Griswold showed that she has what it takes to be Colorado’s next Attorney General. Griswold is a fearless trailblazer who’s spent her career fighting for Coloradans. Whether it’s protecting families by pledging to uphold common sense gun violence prevention laws or working to keep Colorado’s elections safe and secure, she always put Colorado first. As AG, she will expand upon the work she’s done by taking on Trump, standing up to election deniers, going after corporate bad actors who prey on consumers, and safeguarding access to reproductive health care. Griswold is the only choice in this race.”
