Former DAGA Co-Chair Took on Trump, Special Interests in Fighting for Massachusetts

Washington, DC — Today, Massachusetts AG Maura Healey announced her candidacy to be the next Governor of Massachusetts. Healey is in her second term as Attorney General, and previously served as DAGA Co-Chair from 2019-2021.

Statement from DAGA Co-Chairs Nevada AG Aaron Ford and Delaware AG Kathy Jennings:

“Attorney General Healey has been a tenacious fighter for Massachusetts across her two terms, and we are proud to endorse her for Governor. From taking on gun violence and domestic abusers, to prosecuting predatory lenders and taking on the entrenched special interests, to holding former President Trump accountable for his dangerous and lawless behavior, AG Healey has never backed down from a tough fight in Massachusetts and around the country. Thank you, Maura, for your years of dedicated leadership, and we’re thrilled to endorse you as you continue your service to Massachusetts.”
