WASHINGTON, DC – This week, GOP candidate for Michigan Attorney General Doug Lloyd claimed that protecting Michigander’s constitutional rights is one of his top priorities, despite continuing to stay silent on Trump’s unconstitutional actions.

“Doug Lloyd’s claim could not be further from the truth. If he cared about protecting Michigander’s constitutional rights, he’d speak up about Trump’s recent attempt to disenfranchise voters or strip birthright citizenship. Trump has consistently violated the U.S. Constitution and Lloyd’s response has been radio silence.

“Michigan deserves better than Doug Lloyd. Come November, we will elect an AG who will actually defend the constitutional rights of all Michiganders rather than make empty promises.”
