WASHINGTON, DC – Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes sharply refuted Republican Attorney General candidate Warren Petersen after he threatened thousands of DACA recipients “be ready to be deported or prosecuted.”

Earlier this week, AG Mayes told the AZ Mirror “‘I want every Dreamer in Arizona to know this: You have an attorney general in me who will fight for your rights, fight for your families and fight to ensure the Constitution protects everyone that it was designed to protect…’”

AG Mayes will always fight for the rights of Arizonans and protect the families and communities that are being targeted for political points. She’s the AG the people of Arizona deserve to have.
