ICYMI: GA Democratic AG Nominee Jen Jordan Outraises Republican Opponent Chris Carr

July 12, 2022

AG Carr is Out of Touch with Georgians

Washington, DC — DAGA-endorsed State Senator Jen Jordan has turned up the heat in Georgia – outraising incumbent Republican Attorney General Chris Carr in the 2022’s second quarter. “The matchup between Jordan and Carr could become the fall’s most expensive down-ballot race,” reports the Associated Press.

As the AP reports, “Jordan’s campaign said the Sandy Springs state senator raised $601,000 in the two months, bringing the Democrat’s campaign total to more than $2.1 million, with $756,000 in the bank.”

The fundraising numbers paint a clear picture – Republican momentum in Georgia has stalled, and Donald Trump’s endorsement of a primary challenger against Carr weakened the incumbent financially. Instead, Georgians are showing support for Jen Jordan for her experience taking on the powerful to put people first – and her commitment to protecting and defending reproductive health care.
