WASHINGTON, DC – Democratic Attorney General Kris Mayes’s campaign team launched a new campaign site exposing how her Republican opponent, Warren Petersen, is nothing but a pay-to-play politician, benefiting from large donations from companies that AG Mayes has investigated for endangering Arizonans.

“‘Arizonans deserve to know who is trying to buy influence in this election and what they expect in return,’” AG Mayes’ campaign manager Delaney Corcoran stated to the Arizona Capitol Times. “‘We’re following the money and laying out the facts so voters can decide for themselves.’”

It’s clear Petersen does not care about where the money that is supporting his campaign comes from, even if it comes from companies accused of putting Arizonans in harm’s way. If he can be easily bought by a few donations, how can Arizona trust him to do the right thing?
