Kris Kobach Is Disastrous for Kansas

Kansas needs a new attorney general, and Kris Kobach is out of the question
WASHINGTON, DC – Earlier this month, the Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) officially endorsed Chris Mann to serve as Kansas’s next attorney general. Kansas is ready for change, and that change will be achieved by electing Chris Mann, an experienced and accomplished prosecutor who will not only protect and defend the Constitution and rule of law but will never stop pursuing justice for those who have been wronged.
Kris Kobach on the other hand has continuously failed to carry out the duties of an attorney general and is too caught up in pursuing radical partisan issues and lining his own pocketbook, rather than serving his constituents. Kobach is, and always has been, too extreme to be attorney general.
Here’s a look at how Kris Kobach has proven time and again he is unfit to serve as Kansas’ AG, using the position to serve himself rather than the people of Kansas:
- Kobach is an anti-abortion extremist, aiming to overturn the right to abortion and the will of Kansas voters
- Kobach is corrupt, having served as a board member and head lawyer for a fake nonprofit whose leaders went to prison for defrauding donors
- Kobach did nothing to stop Washington politicians from cutting billions of dollars in critical medical funding, including for Alzheimer’s and cancer research, and stood by as DOGE cut millions for Kansas public schools
Kobach continues to have the wrong priorities and refuses to stand up for Kansans’ rights and freedoms, which makes him unfit to serve as Kansas Attorney General. Come November, he will be replaced by Chris Mann, an attorney general who will always put Kansans first.
