Montana AG Seat Primed to Flip Back to Blue this November
For the third quarter in a row, the Democratic candidates running for Montana’s open state Attorney General seat outraised the Republican candidates, reinforcing the Democratic momentum in this 2020 battleground state.
According to Montana campaign finance reports, Raph Graybill, who currently serves as Governor Bullock’s Chief Legal Counsel, and Montana State Representative Kimberly Dudik both outraised the two Republican candidates for Attorney General. In fact, when combined the two Democratic candidates nearly doubled the two Republican candidates fundraising for Q1 of 2020.
As a quick reminder, in October of 2019, The Cook Political Report called the Montana open seat race one of “the most competitive contests” in 2020.
With the primary less than 70 days away, the Democratic Attorneys General Association is already taking steps to fight vigorously in 2020 and flip the Montana AG seat back to blue.
