Dem AG Candidate Chris Mann pulls head of Kris Kobach as new ad shows support from Republican Sherriff

WASHINGTON, DC – A new polling memo shows the race for Kansas Attorney General has become increasingly more competitive with Democratic nominee Chris Mann now leading ahead of Republican AG Kris Kobach.

As the Washington Sun reported, “There are signs of momentum for Democrat Chris Mann in his race for attorney general against Republican incumbent Kris Kobach, according to a new poll by the Democratic Attorneys General Association shared first with The Sun.”

The memo states, “…Kobach’s image has been badly tarnished, and resultingly, he’s underwater by 14 points on favorability […] Nearly half (48%) of voters view Kobach unfavorably…”

Mann also released his second televised campaign ad highlighting his experience in various sectors of law enforcement and spotlighting support from Neosho County Sheriff Greg Taylor. As a Republican, Taylor assures Kansans that Mann will be an AG for all people to keep Kansas safe, regardless of political parties.

Sheriff Greg Taylor: Protect and serve is synonymous with law enforcement all across Kansas.

Chris Mann learned those values as a police officer.

He arrested domestic abusers that hurt their families.

As a prosecutor, he put murderers in prison.

As a securities prosecutor, he went after scammers who stole from seniors.

I’m Sheriff Greg Taylor, and I’m a republican.

As attorney general, I know Chris Mann will protect and serve the public and keep politics out of it.

That’s why I’ll be voting for Chris Mann. And hope that you will too.
