Intro 

Jena Griswold is the Democratic nominee for Attorney General of Colorado. 

Early Life and Education 

Jena grew up in a working-class family in Estes Park, Colorado.  

She became the first person in her family to attend a four-year college before earning her law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. 

Career Highlights 

Following law school, Jena served as the Director of the Governor of Colorado’s DC Office, where she helped secure hundreds of millions of relief dollars to help Colorado communities devastated by the 2013 flood.  

With experience in election law and public service, Jena Griswold was elected Colorado’s Secretary of State in 2018 and reelected in 2022. 

Attorney General Priorities 

As Attorney General, Jena will stand up to the Trump administration to defend Coloradans’ rights and freedoms whenever they are under attack. She will also take on corporate misconduct, protect workers, and address the state’s affordability crisis. 

Jena is committed to ensuring every Coloradan has access to safe and accessible reproductive health care. 

Personal Life 

Jena is a proud mom who says her young son inspires her to make the world a better place.  

When she was first elected as Colorado’s Secretary of State in 2018, she was the youngest elected Secretary of State in the US.
