Intro 

John Kulewicz is the Democratic nominee for Attorney General in Ohio. 

Early Life and Education 

Kulewicz grew up in Columbus and is the son of two Ohio natives. He earned his law degree from Yale Law School and his BA from the Ohio State University. 

Career Highlights  

Kulewicz’s career as a litigator spans across 40 years, winning cases before the Supreme Court of the United States, Supreme Court of Ohio, and federal and state courts across Ohio. In 2022, Kulewicz won a SCOTUS case which took on a monopolistic healthcare provider and preserved access to healthcare for 157 million Americans. He also successfully negotiated a settlement to ensure access to daycare for children with diabetes. 

Kulewicz has also served as president of the Columbus Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, on the Ohio Historical Society Board, and as a member of the Ohio Bicentennial Commission. He has served on the Upper Arlington City Council since 2020.   

Attorney General Priorities 

As Attorney General, Kulewicz will put Ohioans over politics. He will take on corrupt politicians, restore government transparency and accountability, and prioritize affordability across the state.  

With decades of legal experience, John will take on bad actors who attempt to harm Ohioans and ensure their needs are heard and met every day. 

Personal Life 

An avid swimmer and certified lifeguard, John has swum in all 88 counties in the state of Ohio. He and his wife, Maryline, are the proud parents of two adult children.
