Lindsey Cheek is a nationally-recognized, New Orleans-based trial attorney and founding partner at The Cheek Law Firm. She received her JD from South Texas College of Law. She is on the Executive Committee of the Louisiana Association for Justice and on the Board of Governors for the American Association for Justice. Additionally, Lindsey is an active member of the American Bar Association, Association of Women Attorneys, the State Bar of Louisiana, the Southern Trial Lawyers Association, Women En Mass, Society of Women Trial Lawyers, among other organizations. 

The incumbent Republican AG Jeff Landry is running for governor, and because of Republican AG candidates likely splitting the vote in Louisiana’s majority-vote system — Democrats have a chance at a major upset this cycle.
