Intro

Nick Coffey is the Democratic nominee for Attorney General in Oklahoma.

Early Life and Education

Coffey is a fifth-generation Oklahoman who earned his law degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.

Career Highlights

As a federal prosecutor for the Western District of Oklahoma, Coffey has spent years working on some of the state’s most high-profile and complex cases; including successfully prosecuting fraudsters, drug dealers, and transnational criminal organizations.

Most recently, Coffey served on the Department of Justice’s Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force, leading multi-agency investigations targeting major narcotics and money laundering operations.

In 2024, he was named Prosecutor of the Year by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Oklahoma – the youngest recipient in the office’s history.

Attorney General Priorities

As Attorney General, Coffey is ready to root out governmental corruption, take on predatory companies, and prioritize keeping Oklahoma’s children and families safe.

In his first 100 days, Coffey plans to establish an Office of Public Integrity within the OAG, crack down on relentless scam calls, and tackle illegal drug proliferation in the state.

Personal Life

Coffey lives in Oklahoma City. Coffey isn’t just an avid hiker and camper; he’s also a four-time marathoner.
