WASHINGTON, DC – The Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) congratulates Ohio Attorney General-elect John Kulewicz on his win, defeating far-right extremist Keith Faber. This is a historic victory as Kulewicz will be the first Democratic attorney general in 15 years. AG-elect Kulewicz is a dedicated fighter in Ohio with a proven record of victories in all levels of the courts, including his 2022 SCOTUS win to protect healthcare for 157 million Americans. As attorney general, Kulewicz will put the needs of Ohioans first and deliver positive change with lasting impact. DAGA is proud to have AG-elect Kulewicz serve Ohioans as their new Democratic Attorney General.

Statement from Lottie Ash, DAGA Political Director:
“We congratulate AG-elect John Kulewicz and his entire campaign team on their win. As Attorney General, Kulewicz will relentlessly defend Ohioans against corrupt government actors, protect their rights and freedoms, preserve Ohio’s natural resources, and most of all, restore accountability to this office. AG-elect John Kulewicz is ready for the job on day one, and Ohioans can trust that he will deliver wins on their behalf. This is a tremendous victory for the state of Ohio and us here at DAGA as we expand by adding another Democratic AG to our room. We look forward to seeing what AG-elect Kulewicz has in store.”
