SEAT FLIPPED: DAGA Congratulates Vermont AG-Elect Charity Clark on Historic Victory
November 9, 2022
Washington, DC — The Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) congratulates Vermont Attorney General-elect Charity Clark on her tremendous and historic win. Beginning her first term as AG, Clark will advocate for small businesses, protect the environment, and prioritize public safety and keep families safe. Clark’s win marks an AG seat flip from red to blue and DAGA’s first flip of the cycle.
Statement from Geoff Burgan, Communications Director, Democratic Attorneys General Association:
“DAGA congratulates Charity Clark and her campaign team for their excellent work this election cycle as they made history in Vermont and flipped this seat from red to blue. Coming from generations of Vermonters and eight years in leadership in former AG Donovan’s office, Clark has deep ties to the state and knows what the people of Vermont need from their AG. As Vermont’s next Attorney General and the first woman to be elected into the role, Clark will be a tireless advocate for consumers and small businesses, the environment, and common-sense criminal justice reforms. We know that Clark will bring about an even better Vermont for all, and look forward to her first term and all that she will accomplish.”
