Wisconsin’s Clear Choice for AG: Re-Elect Josh Kaul

GOP Extremist Eric Toney to Face AG Kaul in November

Washington, DC — With the conclusion of the Wisconsin primaries, the Attorney General race is set between Democratic AG Josh Kaul and Eric Toney. AG Kaul has worked on behalf of all Wisconsinites since being elected into office in 2018, keeping them safe and protecting their rights.

Statement from Sean Rankin, President, Democratic Attorneys General Association:

“AG Kaul continues to do the work needed to be re-elected this November. He has consistently defended the interests of all Wisconsinites since first being elected in 2018. He’s put public safety at the top of his list, including closing the rape kit backlog left by his predecessor and proposing his “Safer Wisconsin” plan to increase Wisconsin’s investment in law enforcement and victim services, as well as keep dangerous weapons out of criminals’ hands.

“The contrast in this race is stark. While AG Kaul has pushed for more investment in public safety, Wisconsin Republicans have opposed him and those plans, putting themselves on the wrong side of Wisconsin’s voters this fall. While his opponent Eric Toney was has been vowing to strip away fundamental health care protections on the campaign trail, AG Kaul was fighting to restore access to safe and legal abortion. AG Kaul is the clear choice for Wisconsin, and he has DAGA’s full support for his re-election campaign this fall.”
