DAGA Applauds Wisconsin AG Josh Kaul on Decisive Re-Election Win

November 9, 2022

Washington, DC — Wisconsin AG Josh Kaul won his re-election bid, defeating radical GOP nominee Eric Toney. AG Kaul has worked on behalf of all Wisconsinites since being elected into office in 2018, keeping them safe and protecting their rights.

Statement from Geoff Burgan, Communications Director, Democratic Attorneys General Association:

Congratulations to AG Kaul on his re-election victory. AG Kaul ran a strong campaign and it’s clear that voters in Wisconsin trust him to continue keeping them safe and fighting for their rights. He has consistently defended Wisconsinites since first being elected in 2018. He’s put public safety at the top of his list, including closing the rape kit backlog left by his predecessor and proposing his “Safer Wisconsin” plan to increase Wisconsin’s investment in law enforcement and victim services. AG Kaul is leading the fight in court to protect abortion access and defend Wisconsinites’ reproductive rights. We here at DAGA are looking forward to AG Kaul’s next four years in office and seeing his great work continue to protect the people of Wisconsin.”
