Washington, DC — The Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) released the following statement today after the news that Donald Trump faces additional charges in the indictment for his mishandling of classified information and documents at Mar-a-Lago.

“Donald Trump’s indictment makes it clear that no one is above the law – and certainly no one is above the law for the dangerous mishandling of classified information and documents. Many men and women in the armed services and intelligence community risk their lives every day to protect our country and gather intelligence; to so flagrantly disrespect the sacrifice and work of those service members is deeply reprehensible. The actions outlined in the indictment paint a stark and dire picture of the danger Donald Trump continues to pose to our national security and the rule of law.”
